Rachel and Ryan. Fun to see them standing together. Sometimes Rachel wears tape on her right arm to help with the muscle stimulation.
The treadmill. The harness helps support Rachel's weight so that she can work on her gait pattern.
This blog was created to for those who know and love, Rachel Garrison ... to promote prayer for her ... and to keep everyone informed. It is also my hope that soon Rachel will be able to read this and hear back from many!

Hallelujah! What a great God we serve!
It was great to see Rachel up, standing, and walking!!!
Keep it up! Be encouraged! Our prayers for you are always being brought before our Saviour! What an honor!
Rachel,
Praise the LORD! We are thrilled to see what the Lord is doing at this time. You are doing great! I so wonder what has been going on inside your head/heart all these weeks in the process of all this. One day we shall know more, but for now just know that we love you and are praying for you.

Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow! When I saw that photo of Rachel and Ryan standing and leaning into each other, I thought of that hymn - Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus....and that pose will be duplicated at their wedding one day! Rachel - I am SO PROUD of ALL of your HARD WORK. We are drenching you and your family in prayer. Everything is on God's timeline and WHAT a testimony you are to the staff at Madonna. Blessings from Becca and Brooklyn Pendarvis (Allyn and Emily Weddle's cousins) in KC, MO

Rachel!
I'm so excited with the reports of you being able to talk to Ryan on the phone. Last night we all thanked God and prayed for you as a group. Love you! Rebekah
I love the pictures! I'm confidently believing that some years down the road, we'll all look back at these pictures and won't be able to imagine.
continuing to pray for 100% recovery ... and soon!
You're loved!
Rachel,
God is good! What an answer to prayer to hear that you are now able to talk! And we are equally excited to hear that you have been able to talk to Ryan on the phone! We pray for many more sweet conversations - both in person and on the phone.
We continue to pray!
Rachel & David Akridge
